    Are Your Dental Benefits Expiring?

You’ve paid your dental premiums all year, so it’s important you take advantage of your benefits, and not let them simply go away. Most insurance companies provide policies that follow the calendar year. So, if your benefits aren’t used by December 31, 2021 they may be lost for good.

Use Them or You’ll Lose Them

Before we race into this hectic holiday season, we want to take time to remind you about your expiring benefits, and explain why you should use them before year’s end.

Four Reasons Why You Should Use Your Benefits Before They Expire:

    • You’ve already paid your premiums – All year you’ve paid for dental benefits. If you don’t use them, you’re wasting a valuable resource.
    • Your deductible is renewing – Deductibles renew annually just as insurance benefits renew. If you have any outstanding treatment on your treatment plan, you may be able to save the cost of next year’s deductible.
    • Dental problems don’t get better over time – Remember, tooth decay doesn’t go away or heal itself. It’s best to receive treatment when a small issue is identified. Putting off dental care may lead to more expensive procedures later.
    • Dental procedure fees increase over time – Just as the cost of living increases, so does the cost of providing excellent dental care. Occasionally, our fees need to be adjusted. However, there will be no increase for the rest of 2021.

Our schedule is beginning to fill as year-end approaches, but there is still time to take advantage of your expiring dental benefits. Call us at (828) 631-3283 to schedule an appointment or visit our new website to request an appointment online.

    Sincerely,
    David S. McGuire, DDS
