    Your Pre-Dental Visit Checklist

Get the most out of your next appointment by being prepared before you get here. Here’s a helpful checklist that will help you have a great visit:

    1. Review Your Dental Insurance Coverage: Check your dental insurance policy to understand your coverage. Be sure to be aware of any limitations or requirements, such as pre-authorization for specific procedures.
    2. Confirm Your Appointment: If we contact you to confirm your appointment, please respond back to us if we don’t reach you personally. If you have not heard from us, please give us a call to confirm the date and time a few days in advance.
    3. Compile a List of Concerns or Questions: Think about any dental issues or concerns you’d like to discuss with us. Jot down any questions you have about your oral health or recommended treatments.
    4. Prepare Your Dental and Medical Information: Make a list of your current medications, especially if something has changed since your last visit. Don’t forget about any allergies or health conditions you have that we are not aware of.
    5. Bring Your Documentation: Bring your drivers license and dental insurance card, along with the list of medications, allergies, and medical history you prepared.
    6. Arrive Early: Aim to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow you to fill out any necessary paperwork and relax.

Following this checklist will help you be well-prepared for your next dental visit in our office. If you need to schedule an appointment or have questions before your next visit, you can reach us at (828)631-3283 or make an appointment here.

    Sincerely,

    David S. McGuire, DDS
